Umlazi Gospel Choir The Original was established in 2016 and re-branded in 2024 after 8 years in the music industry. The choir has 38 members in total and it works under the management of Mr Themba Radebe who is now the CEO of the choir.
The UGCO’s mission is to change the lives of the youth of Umlazi and Durban as a whole through their acapella music. They do not only focus on singing but addressing social issues at large.
